Strategies for Reaching Optimal Health

Diet:

Why: Optimal Nutrition, balanced mind and energy, and reduced inflammation and toxic load

Exercise:

Why: Healthy movement supports muscles, joints and digestion, improved stress response, and increased energy

Strength:

Why: Brings self-confidence, increased metabolism, strong bones, and pain and injury prevention now and in the future

(This is an often overlooked essential for weight loss!)

Chiropractic Care:

Why: Adaptability, Immunity, sleep, organ function, and helps with all of the above!


Building healthy habits is a process and it's not all or nothing. 

Think about making healthy choices 80% of the time.  Think about what you GET to do, not what you have to do.   When you are making health choices eliminating food from your diet, focus on eating what you LOVE that makes you feel good.  Anyone who knows me that I eat what most people would consider a very restricted diet, but I LOVE what I eat.  I hardly feel like I'm missing anything.  Eating healthy is like a hobby for me.  When you get excited about feeling healthy and realize how great a healthy diet, exercise, and regular chiropractic care can make you feel, they can become one of your favorite things you do. (Especially when you have an awesome chiropractic community you are a part of!) You'll love learning about them, forming community around them, and replacing less useful or entirely useless habits with them.  

You probably already know what health moves it is time for you to start making next. Write down what you want to do, why, and what the real or perceived obstacles to completing it.
