Rachel's Story: Care Member Story of the Week

Rachel's Story:

"I first came to see Dr. Lara when I struggled with a pulled muscle in my back and sciatic pain that traditional chiropractic care was not remedying. Since seeing Dr. Lara, I have felt my body feel better, and not only have I felt better physically, I have felt better emotionally and mentally too. This type of chiropractic care has enabled me to become more in tune with my body. Over the 3 years, I continue to receive care because of the results I've experienced over time."

It's very often that people begin care in our office because they have pain in their body, then discover they benefit in so many other ways they weren't expecting. In fact, about 90% of our practice members elect to continue regular wellness care over time because of the benefits that they see to their health, life, and wellbeing.

Around here we say that community and connection are essential components to health. I believe that CELEBRATION is not just fun, but an important part of that formula!

I tell every single new care member that your care in this office is a co-creative process. This is something we are partnering together to do, along with the amazing power of the innate intelligence within you. That’s why rather than calling you a “patient,” when you become a part of our Chiro family and begin that active participation in care here you are a “practice member” or “care member” (we use the two interchangeably).

Caring for your heath is an investment. It takes time, money, and inconvenience, so when someone shows up to that process 100%, that deserves a celebration! So this year every week or two we will be celebrating a Care Member of the Week, and giving them an opportunity to share their story. I’m certain you will be inspired.

The Big Idea... Another thing I often share with care members is that it is one thing to change a person’s life—I am excited every time that happens in our office—but when that person then goes on to impact other people’s lives—and as a result the world—because of how their life has changed, that is the Big Idea.

So as we share these stories, I hope you are able to see a little bit of yourself in each of these people, and in doing so discover the possibilities for you and your family in your life and health.

If you have never been to the office before, I would be delighted to invite you to schedule a free pre-consultation here. I'm grateful to be a part of your health journey.
