Homemade Dressing Recipe
Combine the below ingredients in a blender to taste, texture, and volume desired.
Taste balancing tip: To balance the taste of the vinegar, increase oil and/or maple syrup.
Olive or avocado oil
1/4 1/2 c almond butter
Lemon juice
Vinegar combination of choice (Apple Cider, red/white wine vinegar) Balsamic vinegar adds sweetness
Maple syrup or honey
Chopped fresh ginger
Water
(Tip: you can add other superfood nutrients into your dressing: herbs, edible essential oils, superfood mushroom powder, aloe juice, etc)
Store the remainder in a jar in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To preserve longer add 1-2 drops of food-grade rosemary essential oil. You’ll probably need to add some water and stir as leftovers tend to solidify.
